My research interest is centered on cytogenomics :


  • Comparative studies of genomic structure between species, with a special focus on the distribution or repeated elements,


  • Chromosome evolution, identification of chromosomal rearrangements and breakpoints,


  • Consequences of chromosome evolution on speciation.


This research is conducted on different biological models, including mammals, bird, butterflies and moths, more particularly on species having a very derived genomic organization among their groups, with the goal to decipher the evolutive forces underlying this reorganization.
