Terrains de recherche
La méiofaune, organismes benthiques marins de tailles comprises entre 50 à 500 µm, peut présenter un rôle écologique très structurant en raison de sa forte production. Ma recherche se focalise sur l’intégration de la meiofaune dans les réseaux trophiques avec la quantification des flux trophiques entre microorganismes (bactéries, diatomées, dinoflagellés), méiofaune (nématodes, copépodes, foraminifères) et prédateurs (crabes, crevettes, oursins, poissons) dans des environnements variés (tropicaux, tempérés et sub-antarctiques).
De part sa forte abondance, la méiofaune constitue un indicateur des conditions environnementales. Mes recherches examinent également les influences de deux catégories de polluants (métaux lourds et nanoplastiques) sur la méiofaune.
